Zusammenfassung:The 2004 Alan C. Purves Award selection committee is pleased to announce this year's recipients--Ailing Kong and P. David Pearson, for their article "The Road to Participation: The Construction of a Literacy Practice in a Learning Community of Linguistically Diverse Learners," which appeared in the August 2003 issue of Research in the Teaching of English. Kong and Pearson's article, which speaks to a wide range of teachers, teacher educators, and teacher researchers, is detailed.
