Buddhism and the Musical Cultures of Asia: An Annotated Discography

Greene et al surveys available recordings of Buddhist music traditions from throughout Asia, subdivided by culture areas. In surveying over three hundred recordings, the authors seek not only to further research into the Buddhist musics within each culture area, but also to encourage regional specialists to gain a broader awareness of Buddhist musics throughout Asia.
