For the enterprise to succeed today, it must depend on people and not just technology. Technology is truly the great enabler, but it is people who establish the visions and strategies, achieve the objectives, and produce the results. For the individual to succeed today, he or she must discover, nurture and hone his or her leadership style. The leader must be adept at handling people and relationships, capable of both listening deeply and conducting crucial conversations, and be able to trust his or her own intuition, which is based upon true self-confidence. One's leadership style is unique to that individual and is based on at least 60 components or characteristics. |
