Meningoencephalitis in Gnotobiotic Pigs Inoculated Intranasally and Orally with Porcine Adenovirus 4

Infection of pigs with porcine adenovirus type 4 by the intranasal and oral routes produced a meningo-encephalitis. The virus rapidly established itself in the brain, but the development of lesions in the CNS teas slower than in other tissues.
