Zusammenfassung: | Parent training programs have been an effective intervention for middle-income families with children who have developmental, learning, and behavioral problems. Results have been mixed with low-income families, however. In the current study a practical parenting program was tested with both middle- and low-income parents. Results indicate significant improvements for families of both income groups. These effects were maintained at 3 months follow-up. Implications for parenting programs and further research are discussed. |
