Zusammenfassung: | The process of manufacturing cryomodules is complex and labor-intensive. The acceptance of cryomodules is based on their performance during the final testing. At various points in the process, testing is performed to ensure integrity of the system components prior to proceeding with the assembly process. The Sociotechnical Systems (STS) approach to complex process analysis provides an efficient and effective method of complex process analysis in research-oriented organization with team involvement. This approach provides a structure to organize teams for examining the critical aspects of production from a systems perspective. As a result, there were tangible and intangible benefits achieved at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. |
