Zusammenfassung:In this work, the issue of stable transportation of load on tether of the deployed system is considered aimed at cleaning up space environment by removing debris fragments. The analytical conditions on systems parameters for stable transportation are obtained. At these parameters the system can function without additional control and human influence. The analytical conclusions were confirmed by numerical simulations. •Dynamics of space tethered system for debris removal.•Dynamics tether with big length is described by PDEs.•Analytical and numerical solutions for stable load transportation along the tethers.
