Zusammenfassung:This article addresses the pseudo-tetragonal nature of the crystal lattice of martensite in carbon-containing steels. It is proposed that the periodic distortion of c -cube edges by the presence of carbon atoms is better reflected in the root-mean-square distortions of martensite lattice than by the value of doublet splitting of the corresponding X-ray reflections of the martensite crystal.
