Although psychosocial interventions are the mainstay of SUD-targeted treatment, the effect sizes are generally small to modest. Emerging findings support the use of pharmacotherapies to augment psychosocial treatments. The objective of this presentation is to provide an overview of the evidence base supporting medication treatments for SUD in adolescents. |
