Zusammenfassung:This presentation will do the following: 1) explore the rate of attending burnout in the psychiatry department at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB); 2) compare the rate of attending burnout in the UAB psychiatry department to the overall rate of attending burnout at UAB; 3) compare the rate of burnout at UAB to nationwide burnout rates, both for psychiatry and overall; 4) discuss possible reasons for the high burnout rate; and 5) discuss the impact of work-life balance on burnout.
