Zusammenfassung:Clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) are a gold-standard information source for evidence-informed clinical decision making and for promoting optimal patient outcomes. To use CPGs, mental health clinicians need to know how to find them, how to choose which one to use, and how to contextualize the chosen CPG so it can be used in a particular setting. The objectives of this Workshop are to help participants: 1) understand the importance of CPGs for the treatment of child and adolescent mental illnesses, especially adolescent depression; 2) learn how to search for CPGs in child and youth mental health (CYMH); 3) learn how to appraise and select the best CPGs to use; 4) learn what the best guidelines for the treatment of adolescent depression suggest; and 5) learn how to navigate the implementation of adolescent depression CPGs in their settings.
