Zusammenfassung: | Inviscid instability of nonsymmetric self-similar incompressible axial corner-layer flow at zero streamwise pressure gradient is considered. It is shown that the leading corner mode exhibits the maximum growth at least in a certain range of the streamwise wave number, outside of which the growth is overlapped by boundary-layer modes. The maximum growth of the corner mode and the amplitude distribution of its eigenfunction is almost independent of the asymmetry parameter for the base flows under consideration. |
