Zusammenfassung:The magnetic properties of rapidly solidified Fe-Pd ribbons were examined in both martensitc and parent phase states, as well as during the course of the phase transformation; the martensitic transformation is located at temperatures slightly beyond room temperature (RT), as detected via differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis, on cooling. During the cooling-heating thermal cycling, the phase transformation was examined using ac magnetic measurements; an original electromagnetic induction-based equipment was designed and built for magnetization recording vs. temperature, under preset field amplitude conditions.
