Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents the results obtained from the development of cutting plan system for one dimensional and two dimensional cutting problems. A hybrid method for the solution of both one dimensional and two dimensional cutting plans was proposed. For one dimensional, the hybrid method is between Largest in Least Empty (LILE) and sequential search. For two dimensional, the hybrid method is between Constructive heuristics and Sequential search. Solutions obtained prove that the hybrid method gives better solution although the computation time is increased but is still considered low. The amount wastage reduction is better for hybrid method. Hybrid method uses the least amount of raw materials, which enhances the method. The computation time is almost similar between both dimensional. Comparisons with methods without sequential search are presented. |
