Zusammenfassung:This paper reviews the classification of the sex offence of stalking and describes two men with an intellectual disability who have been convicted of offences consistent with stalking. Treatment issues are outlined and a treatment method described. One man was seen in a group for sex offenders and the other was seen in individual sessions. The man seen in a group had a successful outcome while the other participant reoffended after 9 months. The processes of cognitive change for both men are outlined and compared by assessing attitudes across the offending areas of rape, voyeurism, exhibitionism and dating abuse. The outcomes are discussed in terms of both individual participants and the population of sex offenders with an intellectual disability.
