Zusammenfassung:Nano-Hydroxyapatite (HAP) powders were successfully synthesised by hydrothermal method using Sapindus Mukorossi extract as an additive. The structural and morphological analyses of thus synthesised powders were carried out using FT-IR, XRD and FESEM/EDX. The FT-IR spectra confirm the presence of phosphate and hydroxyl groups corresponding to HAP. The XRD analysis reveals the formation of HAP phase and found to reduce the crystallite size with addition of Sapindus Mukorossi extract. The morphology changes from sphere to flake shape by the influence of extract.
