Zusammenfassung:A study was conducted for the analysis of pollution load in surface water and ground water at Kazipally IDA, Gaddapotheram IDA, and Bollaram IDA during the rainy season. Samples were analyzed for various physical and chemical parameters like pH, EC, TDS, Nitrates, Phosphates, Flourides, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and magnesium. The heavy metals such as Fe, Mn, Ni, Zn and Cd were analysed. All the results were compared with US-EPA and WHO standands and it was found that surface water and ground water are highly polluted and they are neither fit for irrigation nor safe for drinking purposes.
