Zusammenfassung:Giant tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon Fabricius, 1798) is one of Indonesia’s main aquaculture commodities. Four populations (G7, G8, G8iA and G8iJ) of tiger shrimp were obtained from broodstock center of Main Center for Brackishwater Aquaculture and Fisheries (MCBAF) Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia. G7 is the domesticated stock in MCBAF Jepara. Inbreed progeny was obtained from sibling mating of G7. Outbreed progeny was obtained from mating G7 with wild broodstock. Ten individuals of each population were evaluated for their genetic variation using ISSR marker. The following genetic variation parameters including Percentage of Polymorphic Bands for G7, G8, G8iA and G8iJ were 83.33%, 69.23%, 84.62%, and 72.00% respectively. Expected Heterozygosity values ranging from 0.235 (G8iJ) to 0.322 (G8iA). Shannon’s Information Index ranged from 0.317 (G8) to 0.432 (G8iA). A number of Different Alleles was ranged from 1.536 (G8iJ) to 1.714 (G8iA). A number of Effective Alleles ranged from 1.405 (G8iJ) to 1.571 (G8iA). Outbreed population has higher genetic variation than inbreed population.
