Zusammenfassung:The authors consider the influence of the gas shielding method under consumable electrode welding and double-jet gas shielding together with its influence upon the processes in the arc zone and the properties of weld joints from high-strength alloyed 30HGSA steel. The authors provide the results of recent experimental research on weld joints properties improvement through changing the gas dynamics of the active shielding gas. It was established that the jet of active shielding gas has a considerable gas-dynamic influence upon weld joints formation, chemical composition, structure and properties of the weld joints from high-strength alloyed steels.
