Zusammenfassung:A kinetic model of a nonequilibrium first-order phase transition initiated by the volumetric heat source is developed. It is shown that at the critical level of the heat source power density the phase transition process (melting) is realized under nonequilibrium conditions of considerable local overheating. It may be accompanied by the formation of the locally unstable state of a microcrystal and by complex irregular dynamics of physical properties of the medium.
