A comptuer-based undergraduate exercise using Internet-accessible simulatin software for the study of retention behavior and optimization of separation conditions in ion chromatography

Information on the use of computer software from the Internet to teach chemistry classes about ion chromatography is presented. The software is useful in illustrating characteristics of retention behavior, peak-shape effects and pH effects that are evident in ion chromatography.
