Use of modified laboratory instruction for improving science process skills acquisition

One of the aims of the present science curriculum development in Singapore, is to prepare students for acquisition of cognitive thinking and investigative skills. The authors have constructed a modified lab instruction in the area of qualitative analysis to achieve this end.
