Using spin-spin decoupling NMR for structure elucidation in the extraction of cinnamaldehyde

Cinnamaldehyde extracted from cinnamon sticks can be used to obtain nuclear magnetic resonance spectra as part of a laboratory experience. An experiment using spin-spin decoupling for structure elucidation is detailed.
