Zusammenfassung:The patient was positioned sitting and a high frequency linear ultrasound probe was placed transversely above the spine of the scapula to obtain a long-axis view of the supraspinous fossa (Fig. 1). The patient was repositioned and the ultrasound probe was placed parasagittally on the chest inferior to the clavicle and medial to the coracoid process, to image the axillary artery and the three cords of the brachial plexus (Fig. 1).
