Zusammenfassung:Liquid storage tanks are used to store variety of liquids. This paper provides theoretic background of seismic response liquid storage circular container. Using of theoretic knowledge for calculating of impulsive and convective effects of fluid in liquid storage circular container was calculated the response of earthquake excited tank: the base shears of the wall and the base moments, immediately above and below the tank bottom plate, for full or partially fluid filled tank.
