Zusammenfassung: | During the manual mode, the set speed of the feeding and tamping augers had a large influence on the resulting gap width. The compactor enabled superior gap width control by adjusting the speed of the feeding and tamping augers, with which the powder feed rate can be changed. By using the automatic and full automatic modes, an increased roll speed or compaction force led to higher feeding and tamping auger speeds, providing a constant gap width (with a standard deviation of less than 0.1 mm). |
