Zusammenfassung: | Inductive coordination between power lines and pipelines has focused on the 60/50 Hz component in the past. Through field measurements and circuit-model based analysis, this research shows that harmonic currents in power lines can cause more significant voltage induction on pipelines. It is due to the relatively higher frequency and zero-sequence nature of some of the harmonic currents. In view of the findings, this paper presents two methods for assessing the severity of harmonic voltage induction. One is a circuit-model-based method and the other is a field measurement-based method. |
