Zusammenfassung:An ODT can also serve as a preferred delivery system for sparingly soluble compounds or compounds where absorption is solubility-limited (BCS class II). With proper selection of formulation excipients (solubilizers, resins, disintegrants, etc.) and processing technology, any issues relating to wettability, solubility and absorption could be overcome to obtain a product with good organoleptic properties that still meets bioequivalency criteria.
