Zusammenfassung:Some potential problems associated with the use of web-based surveys are their ability to be forwarded to inappropriate or unintended subjects.31 Web-based surveys also suffer from potential problems with undeliverable e-mails due to outdated listservs or incorrect e-mail addresses, thus affecting the calculation of the response rate and determination of the most appropriate denominator. 2,30-31 The authors should describe specifically how the survey instrument was disseminated (eg, e-mail with a link to the survey) and what web-based survey tool was used.
