Zusammenfassung:	Serial blood sampling was conducted to evaluate hormone profiles in entire and surgically castrated male pigs and entire males immunized with gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue. Immunization reduced plasma concentrations of estrone sulphate and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) from entire male concentrations to those observed for surgically castrated males, which likely modulate growth and body composition.
