REPLICATIVE SENESCENCE AND AGING: A COMPARATIVE BIOLOGY APPROACH
An abstract of a study by Lorenzini et al on replicative senescence and aging is presented. Results suggests that the adaptive significance of species' replicative lifespan may have more to do with total cell number in the adult than with maximum longevity.
