NO and H2O2 mechanisms of guanylate cyclase activation in oxygen-dependent responses of rat pulmonary circulation

A study was conducted to examine the role of two distinct mechanisms of soluble guanylate cyclase activation, nitric oxide and hydrogen peroxide-catalase, in the maintenance of low pulmonary artery pressures and to examine the oxygen tension responses in the isolated perfused rat lung.
