Pulmonary vasoconstriction by serotonin is inhibited by S-nitrosoglutathione

Research results indicate that nitric oxide donor S-nitrosoglutathione (GSNO) can regulate vascular tone in the intact lung by a reversible mechanism involving inhibition of the response to serotonin (5-HT).
