Zusammenfassung:	Smart construction is not limited to modern technological innovation. Generations of people across the globe have evolved countless ingenious solutions to their particular needs that it would be foolish to sweep aside in the pursuit of progress. Inteligencias Colectivas is a research project run by Madrid‐based Zoohaus Collective which works with communities to produce locally relevant urban prototypes that blend traditional and high‐tech knowhow and materials. Zoohaus co‐founders Lys Villalba Rubio, Juan Chacón Gragera and Manuel Domínguez Fernández introduce some examples of their projects in Africa, Asia and South America.
