Zusammenfassung: | Implementing an integrated information system (ISS) is a strategic decision for any firm, especially for SMEs. The notion of co-alignment provided by strategic alignment literature allows formalizing the motivations and the path to be done by SMEs when choosing their ISS. Based on fourteen case studies, this paper highlights four co-alignment trajectories based on the difference between the initial profile of the SME and the expected profile at the end of the integration project. These four paths help for a better understanding of organizational issues associated with ISS and information system projects. |
