Each story gives a detailed account of a compulsive behavior, as in the case of "Compromancia," the first of Fonseca's narratives in this collection, which takes us into the mind of a man who starts to make a slow and descriptive analysis of his own feces; or in "O Estuprador" (The rapist), where we experience the insane passion of a man who enjoys sucking pus from the wounds of his lover.
