A Year in Review - Progress and Prospects

Major resources released this past year include the Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse Residency Program, the Preceptor Guide for Ambulatory Care Nursing, and the Ambulatory Care Nursing Orientation and Competency Assessment Guide. AAACN membership (11% increase) and conference attendance this past year was the highest ever and has led to financial surplus and security for the organization. Because we are in a fiscally sound position and all evidence points to a continued positive trend, the BOD has made the decision to reinvest some of that capital in the growth and development of the organization. Luckily, AAACN is maintaining strong and expert leadership in both our management services and the incredible nurse members/leaders.
