Zusammenfassung:Reasons are examined for the necessity of eliminating restrictions on the speed of impoundment (drawdown) of a reservoir, ensuring safe operation of the structure. The effect of the rate of change of the HWL on the rate of change of radial displacements of a dam is studied. It is shown that increasing the rate of reservoir impoundment does not worsen the stress-strain state of the structure.
