End-tidal PCO(2) as an index of psychophysiological activity during VDT data-entry work and relaxation

A study designed to assess the utility of end-tidal peak concentration of carbon dioxide (PCO2) in a single breath of exhaled air as an index of psychophysiological activity during performance of a computer-based task and during relaxation is discussed. Zusammenfassung:A study designed to assess the utility of end-tidal peak concentration of carbon dioxide (PCO2) in a single breath of exhaled air as an index of psychophysiological activity during performance of a computer-based task and during relaxation is discussed. Results indicate that end-tidal PCO2 discriminates among different psychophysiological states.
