Zusammenfassung:In this work we present validation of the mixture model for two-phase flow using Mathematica together with the TVD-MUSTA scheme. Numerical simulations have been computed for diverging flow which produces rarefaction wave solutions. Results are shown to agree closely with numerical solutions from previous literature as well as a high resolution reference solution and thus demonstrate the capabilities of Mathematica for mixture model two-phase flow.
