Zusammenfassung:Feeding in the wild of the tortoise Homopus signatus signatus in South Africa was recorded and the diet compared to previously reported fecal analysis. Several new plant species were identified in the diet, and analyses differed by ca. 24% in terms of species present. Tortoises did not feed on all plant species or parts to the same extent, indicating selective feeding.
