Zusammenfassung:Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nano particles were prepared by using the sol-gel technique. The materials used for the synthesis were Zinc Acetate Dihydrate (Zn(CH3COO)2.2H2O) and SDS (sodium dodecyl sulphate) (C12H25NaO4S). Ethanol was used as solvent. The obtained nano powder was characterized using X-ray diffraction, Uv-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, FESEM, EDAX and ESR. The absorbance and band gap were analyzed by using Uv-Vis spectroscopy. Electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra study was analyzed at room temperature. ZnO have the properties like high thermal conductivity, binding energy, high refractive index and have the applications in materials and products like solar cells, medicine, cosmetics.
