The role of nappe tectonics in the development of abnormally high formation pressure and economic metalliferous brines: A case study of the southern Siberian craton

Zusammenfassung: | A study investigated the possible role of nappe tectonics in the development of AHFP (abnormally high formation pressure) and in the formation of industrial pools of rare-metal brines on the Siberian Craton. Issues of minerageny of the liquid polycomponent ore in the sedimentary cover of the southern Siberian Craton, i.e., the connement of anomalous reservoir rocks, AHFP, and anomalously high concentrations of rare elements in brines, are considered within the framework of a common geological-genetic model in the present work. |
