Equations of state of Al, Au, Cu, Pt, Ta, and W and revised ruby pressure scale

Researchers propose a new ruby pressure scale based on the the precise measurements of Dewaele et al. The results of this work contain the complete PVT equations of state of Al, Au, Cu, Pt, Ta, and W thus enabling consistent pressure measurements at any temperature (rather than only at 298 K as with the ruby scale) from the corresponding isotherms of any of these metals.
