Zusammenfassung: | Among serpentinite group minerals (lizardite, chrysotile, and antigorite), lizardite is the lowest temperature, whereas antigorite is the highest temperature. In nature, olivine in ultramafic and mafic rocks of fold areas and platforms is commonly replaced by these minerals. The most abundant ultramafic serpentinite composes a significant part of oceanic crusts and a substantial part of fold areas of the eugeosyncline (Ural) type. Basically, such serpentinite was formed involving seawater, which in addition to other features is documented by chlorine in lizardite, the major mineral of such serpentinite. |
