The petrogenic relationship between mafic and felsic rocks from the Sora porphyry Cu-Mo center (Kuznetsk Alatau): A geochemical and Sm-Nd isotope study

Porphyry copper deposits are localized in the centers of repeated magmatic events in close association with porphyric complexes. Ore producing systems of this type are classified as mantle-crustal ones and characterized by participation of magmas with variable composition from mafic and intermediate to acid in their evolution. Recognition of the sources of magmas with various compositions, their relationships, and the role in the ore formation are the problems of main importance during the study of such systems.
