Performance Review: "Le Costume"

Reviews Barney Simon and Mothobi Mutloatse's adaptation of Can Themba's "Le costume," translated by Marie-Hèléne Estienne and presented 7 April 2000 in Taormina, Italy, at the Vittorio Emanuele Theatre under the direction of Peter Brook. Says that the play is, in many ways, a tribute to apartheid era writers. Notes that this production of the touring show was presented at Sicily's Europe Theatre Prize festival.
