Acceleration Effect on the Stanton Number for Castings of Ice-Roughened Surfaces
Dukhan et al present a study which was conducted to provide characteristics of the convective heat transfer from stochastically accreted ice-roughened surfaces in accelerated flows. These data are needed for the effective sizing and design of in-flight de-icing systems.
