Parameters of the lower layer of saltation over desert territories

Characteristics of the main (lower) layer of saltation in windsand ux over a desert territory were determined experimentally including parameters of the vertical prole of mass saltation ux, the distribution function by size of salting sand grains, and the spectral density of uctuations power of counted concentration of salting sand grains. The wind velocity in the surface layer of the atmosphere should be measured with a time resolution not greater than 1 min to estimate the parameters of saltation.
