Damage tolerance certification of a fighter horizontal stabilizer

The program for the damage tolerance certification test of a composite horizontal stabilizer of a fighter aircraft is reviewed. The object of the program is to certify that the fatigue life and damage tolerance strength of a damaged composite horizontal stabilizer meets the design requirements.
